
The city of Atlanta extended a hand to the people of Lodz, Poland, Tuesday in a deal to promote trade, tourism and investment, MyAJC reported.
Mayor Kasim Reed signed a letter of intent with Hanna Zdanowska, the mayor of Lodz, to create a partnership between the two cities on innovation, cultural and academic enhances and trade, tourism and investment.
The deal is a result of a trade mission to Poland in 2013, the mayor’s office said.
