Suspended ministry spokesman removed from company board?

Bartłomiej Misiewicz, who was recently suspended from the position of spokesman at the Polish defence ministry, has reportedly been removed from the board at a state-owned company.

Misiewicz is no longer listed as a board member on the website of the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ).

The daily Super Express reported that Misiewicz had been dismissed.

PGZ’s statute was especially changed to allow Misiewicz to join its board, despite the fact that he does not have a university degree.

Asked by the private TVN broadcaster last week about Misiewicz being appointed to the board of PGZ, despite not having the necessary qualifications, Prime Minister Beata Szydło said that she had spoken to Defence Minister Antoni Macierewicz to personally address the situation in his ministry.
