Poland’s retail sales decreased in real terms by 7.3 percent year on year and went up by 0.1 percent month on month in April 2023, the Central Statistical Office said on Tuesday.

Economists polled by PAP expected April’s retail sales to fall in real terms by 8.0 percent year on year and to decline by 0.3 percent month on month.

In current prices, retail sales increased by 3.4 percent year on year in April against an 3.8-percent expected rise.
