Serbia, Kosovo deal ends deadlock and will improve citizens lives: expert


The leaders of Serbia and Kosovo agreed to a Western-backed deal on Monday to normalise relations. Under the new deal, Serbia stopped short of recognising Kosovo as an independent state but agreed to recognise official documents such as passports, diplomas and licence plates and not to block Kosovo’s membership of any international organisation. TVP World spoke to Dr Rigels Halili from the Center for European Studies at the University of Warsaw, about the new deal.
