Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have launched attacks in as many as nine regions of Ukraine. Bakhmut in the Donetsk region remains the focal point of Russian offensive operations. The city was nearly encircled, with Russian forces closing in from three sides. According to officer Anatoly Kozlovsky, Ukrainian defenders still have supplies and can hold out for a long time.
