Dnipro’s regional governor Valentyn Reznichenko said a Russian missile attack on Saturday (January 14) killed 12 people and injured 64, including six children.
Rescue workers were seen searching for injured and dead victims in a video released by Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.

Rescuers used ladders to reach residents trapped on balconies, while others were helped over rubble to escape.

Ukraine continues to suffer from infrastructure attacks
German Galushchenko, the Ukrainian energy minister, said on Saturday that the coming days will be difficult after Russia’s latest missile attack.
Russia launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine on Saturday.
“Due to the shelling in the majority of the regions, emergency cut-offs are being introduced. The coming days will be difficult,” he wrote on Facebook.
