Poland’s average corporate gross monthly wage rose by 13.0 percent year on year to PLN 6,554.87 (EUR 1,375) in June 2022, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Wednesday.

In monthly terms, the average wage rose by 2.4 percent.

Economists polled by PAP expected an 13.3-percent annual increase in the corporate wage in June and a 2.7-percent monthly growth.

June’s corporate employment increased by 2.2 percent year on year to 6,496,700 and by 0.1 percent month on month.

The employment figures were in line with the economists’ expectations.
