Poland’s annual inflation may drop visibly in 2024, the National Bank of Poland (NBP) wrote on Thursday in a macro-economic survey.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) in 2022-2023 should place above the upper deviation limit from NBP’s 3.5 percent inflation target, the bank wrote.

Inflation in 2024 is expected at 4.6 percent, more than twice below the 2022 inflation forecast of 9.3-12.2 percent, NBP wrote.
