Russians prepare for a new attack
Ukraine’s Defence Minister pointed out that the Russians are concentrating forces ahead of a new attack, primarily on the key cities of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Mykolaiv.
He assured that the authorities are doing everything to create humanitarian corridors for the population. “This is not easy, because Russian terrorists do not keep their word. They have no mercy even for children and women, for the wounded. They shell residential neighbourhoods. They shell civilians during the evacuations,” the head of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry wrote on social media.
According to the ministry, nearly 140,000 Ukrainian citizens, mostly men, have returned to the country. Many of them are joining the fight to defend the country. More than 20,000 foreign volunteers have also applied to come to Ukraine and help defend the country.
Minister Reznikov also pointed out that “Ukraine is working to get air and missile defence assistance from their allies.
“Our most important advantage over the enemy is the unification of society. In Russia, they do not understand what self-organisation and trust between the authorities and citizens are,” the defence minister pointed out.

“During the night Ukrainian forces attacked the Chornobayivka airfield near Kherson. The occupiers deployed some of their aviation machines there. 30 helicopters were destroyed, as well as personnel and equipment depots,” the report said.
