
The Commander-in-Chief of Poland's Police, Inspector General Jaroslaw Szymczyk has decided to send helmets and bulletproof vests to the police in Ukraine.

Poland is sending equipment to police in Ukraine, a Polish police spokesperson has announced.
“The Commander-in-Chief of Poland’s Police, Inspector General Jaroslaw Szymczyk has decided to send helmets and bulletproof vests to the police in Ukraine,” Mariusz Ciarka said and added that “Polish police supports its friends in Ukraine’s National Police.”
The spokesperson also said that the six trucks were already on their way to Ukraine.
Russia, on Thursday, launched an attack on cities and military installations across Ukraine, forcing thousands of civilians to flee the country.
