Poland’s advertising market grows by 16.2 pct in 2021 says agency

The value of the Polish advertising market increased by 16.2 percent year on year in 2021, advertising agency Publicis has said.

Compared to the pre-pandemic year of 2019, advertising expenditure went up by 7 percent in 2021. In 2020, the market shrank by 7.9 percent, according to a Publicis report published on Monday.

Online, television, radio, outdoor, and cinema advertising all posted double-digit growth figures.

Online advertising overtook television advertising in terms of market share in 2021, and their combined share of the total market topped 85 percent, Publicis said.

According to the agency, the Polish advertising market will grow by 4.5-6.5 percent this year.
