WIG, the oldest index on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE), rose by 0.26 percent to the highest closing value in history on Friday, closing at 69,254.4 points, WSE reported.

Friday was the 8th consecutive record day for the WSE WIG.

WIG was introduced on the WSE’s first trading session on April 16, 1991.
