Poland wants to strengthen family’s role in social life: PM

“Poland wants to strengthen the role of the family in social life even more,” Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stressed. He announced that in a few days, as part of the presentation of the “Polish New Deal”, the continuation of the programme aimed at supporting Polish families will be presented.

During the international V4 + COALITION PRO FAMILIA conference, the head of the Polish government stressed that “a family is absolutely the basic social unit.”

“This is where a sense of security, a sense of stability, love is born,” Mateusz Morawiecki pointed out, adding that “Poland wants to strengthen the role of the family in social life even more.”

The Prime Minister pointed out that thanks to the repair of the public finance system, the Polish government obtained funds enabling it to conduct a pro-family policy and a programme whose continuation will be presented in “a few days as part of the presentation of the Polish New Deal.”

“We put great emphasis, and we will continue to ensure that the basic goals and needs of families are adequately secured in the budget, regulations, and policies of the Polish state and the EU. We want to promote the family within the EU, this is one of the basic goals of social policy for us on the EU forum,” Mateusz Morawiecki stressed.

He also added that Poland prides itself on the policy of promoting “families in which children can be brought up in peace, security, love, can be educated, develop and shape their talents.”
