The money will be paid in June to attendants, stretchers, ambulance drivers and medical transport workers.

“Let this be some additional support and a tribute to this very important part of non-medical personnel,” PM Mateusz Morawiecki told a press conference.

According to the head of the government, everyone who has worked for at least 21 days in the COVID-19-related area will be entitled to receive the benefit.

Earlier, the Minister of Health, Adam Niedzielski, discussed the details of the non-medical supplement with, among others, Maria Ochman of the NSZZ Solidarity union and Urszula Michalska from the All-Poland Alliance of Trade Unions (OPZZ).
