Poland saw 26,405 new confirmed coronavirus cases and 349 fatalities over the past 24h to Saturday morning vs 25,998 cases reported on Friday, data released by the Healthcare Ministry shows.
The healthcare system is now handling 23,293 Covid hospitalisations, up from 22,567 recorded the day prior, including 2,315 patients on ventilators vs the total of 3,154 ventilators available, the Healthcare Ministry said on Twitter. Poland currently sports 32,713 beds for Covid patients.
The health ministry also reported that 396,680 people are under quarantine. So far, 1,640,050 people have recovered.
In all, 4,983,494 Poles have already been vaccinated against Covid-19, according to data posted on the official government website, gov.pl.
