Covid-19-related recommendations regarding the Easter holidays will be announced within a week or two, a Polish deputy health minister said.
This year’s Easter falls on April 4.
Deputy health Minister Waldemar Kraska told a private radio broadcaster on Saturday that the main goal was to limit population mobility since it was the main cause of the Covid-19 spread.
“If the situation grows worse than it is now, restrictions are likely to be announced,” Kraska said. “There is no decision for now.”
“I remember that a year ago we expressed hope that next Easter will be a normal holiday. Unfortunately, it seems that there will surely be some restrictions regarding travelling,” Kraska added.
