Inflation in Poland stood at 1.1 percent in year-on-year terms in December, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Friday in a flash estimate.
Economists had expected a reading of 1.2 percent, the PAP news agency reported, citing a consensus forecast.
In November, the prices of consumer goods and services in Poland were 1.3 percent higher than in the same month a year earlier.
Inflation in October stood at 1.8 percent year on year.
