Inflation in Poland at 2%

Inflation in Poland stood at 2.0 percent year on year in March, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Tuesday.

The prices of goods and services fell by 0.1 percent compared to February.

Jarosław Janecki, chief economist at banking and financial services company Societe Generale, said Poles could expect a slight increase in prices in the coming weeks, including in fuel.
