The Polish economy grew 2.5 percent in real terms year on year in the third quarter, the Central Statistical Office said on Tuesday in a preliminary estimate. Economists had expected GDP growth of around 2.9 percent. The last time the Polish economy grew less than 3 percent was at the end of 2013.

Seasonally adjusted GDP rose 0.2 percent in real terms compared with the previous quarter and was 2.1 percent up on the same period last year, the Central Statistical Office said.
