
Samsung has decided to put an end to the two company’s research centers based in Poland. It will close the Lodz and Poznan branches. That decision comes to light after the adoption of regional program of restructuring of human resources. In a special statement the company has declared that every working persons will save his job.
Samsung’s Łódź office will be closed. All Employees will soon be given new proposals of employment elsewhere, but the electronics giant does not want to provide any details yet. The Research & Development office of the Korean company was only opened in March 2013.
Although no details have been provided yet, the company has confirmed that by the end of August the Łódź office will be closed. Information about the closure of the Poznan office has already been leaked. The company said that it will relocate the Research & Development function to a central office, hoping to combine knowledge and expertise of both branches. However, no further details were provided.
