The Asia and Pacific region offers new opportunities but also challenges for Polish diplomacy, Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz has said.
Czaputowicz on Tuesday took part in the third Asia-Pacific Day in the Polish parliament, an event focusing on challenges to international security and order in the region.
Asia and the Pacific are “an area of new opportunities, but also challenges for Polish diplomacy,” said Czaputowicz.
He added that one such challenge was bringing added value to political processes strengthening the stability of the region.
Czaputowicz said that Poland’s growing presence in the region was in line with one of the objectives of Warsaw’s foreign policy – the economic development of the country through finding new markets and investment.
