Minister for investment and development of Poland Jerzy Kwiecinski on Wednesday were to begin a two-day visit to Germany for business meetings and participation in the economic summit in Munich.
The 16th Munich Economic Summit opening on Wednesday is a key business event in Germany’s southeastern Bavaria region, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
The event, held under the motto “Reshaping Europe,” aims to focus on issues including financial sector stability and Europe’s role and competitiveness in an uncertain world.
While in Germany, Kwieciński plans to meet executives and officials including Günther Oettinger, a German politician who serves as the European Union’s budget commissioner, IAR reported.
