US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is to visit Poland towards the end of January as part of his tour of Europe, the US State Department has said. Tillerson is set to arrive in Warsaw on 26 January for high-level talks with top Polish officials on Polish-US bilateral ties, global challenges, regional security and trade.

Tillerson is also expected to visit the UK, France and Switzerland. He is to meet British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson and attend a Paris conference on chemical weapons and the World Economic Forum in Davos.

In London and Paris, Tillerson is expected to talk about the situations in Iran, Syria, Libya, North Korea and Ukraine.
