Poland’s new Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has announced his picks for three important government positions, replacing officials appointed by his predecessor Beata Szydło.

Morawiecki on Monday announced that Marek Suski will be his new chief of staff to replace Elżbieta Witek, Michał Dworczyk will head the Prime Minister’s Office to replace Beata Kempa, and Joanna Kopcińska will be the new government spokesperson to replace Rafał Bochenek.

Suski is a prominent conservative politician who until now served as deputy head of the parliamentary caucus of the ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party, while Dworczyk was a deputy defence minister, and Kopcińska is a serving MP for the PiS party.
