The Polish health minister has warned that the number of coronavirus infections is rising, saying that Tuesday’s count was 1,000 more than a week ago.
A graph published by Adam Niedzielski on Twitter on Tuesday showed the numbers and trends in coronavirus infections. “A reversal of the trend has become a fact,” the minister wrote. “Today’s result, 5,178 new infections, is over 1,000 higher than a week ago.”
Niedzielski stressed that the weekly infection rate was increasing for the first time since mid-November, not including what he called a “post-Christmas anomaly.”
