In this episode of TVP World’s Pulse of Culture, our programme’s host Katarzyna Sanocka takes a closer look at the Bosch and Another Renaissance exhibition in Milan. The exhibition pays tribute to artist Hieronymus Bosch.
The brand new exhibition “revolves around a fascinating thesis: Bosch is the emblem of an ‘alternative’ Renaissance, which is far from the Renaissance governed by the myth of classicism and is evidence of the existence of a plurality of Renaissances, with its art centres scattered throughout Europe,” the Royal Palace of Milan website stated on their website.
This episode also featured a poetry vending machine placed in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia.
Other events covered in this episode include a costume exhibition at the Museum of Broadway in New York, the 80th birthday of Daniel Barenboim and the Foreign Service Day celebrations in Poland.
