With a cannon salute and the sound of the Big Ben bell, the procession carrying the coffin with the body of Queen Elizabeth II arrived at the Palace of Westminster. On the way from Buckingham Palace, the body of the Queen was accompanied by King Charles III and other members of the royal family.
As the procession passed through The Mall, everyone remained silent apart from the military band and the clatter of soldiers’ boots.
