Will the Pope build bridges between the Catholic, Orthodox churches over Ukraine?

A friar talks about the moral ramifications of the position of the Church on the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

r. Waldemar Cisło of the Aid to the Church in Need was invited to shed some light on the Pope’s recent decision to visit Ukraine. He concedes that there are many bad things occuring in both war-torn nations, but stresses the need for those wanting to help to focus on providing things like medicine and food.

Other things discussed by Fr. Cislo include: the different attitudes toward freedom in Ukraine, the role of the Orthodox Church, and what can the Pope do to stop the war.
