Russian forces have intensified their attacks on targets throughout Ukraine’s Donetsk region, meanwhile President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has suspended the head of Ukraine’s internal security agency, the SBU, and the state prosecutor general over allegations that their subordinates collaborated with Russian invaders.

Over the last few days, Russian forces have intensified their attacks on targets throughout Ukraine’s Donetsk region. TVP World correspondent Krzysztof Panek talked to local residents about the dangerous situation.

Zelenskyy suspends top security officials

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has suspended the head of Ukraine’s internal security agency, the SBU, and the state prosecutor general over allegations that their subordinates collaborated with Russian invaders. This is the largest political dismissal since the outbreak of war.
