Polish delegation was murdered by Putin in 2010: former Pentagon head

The Polish delegation with President Lech Kaczynski was brutally murdered by Vladimir Putin, former US Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller said about the Smolensk Air Disaster

In an interview with Radio Wnet, the retired military officer said that he took part in the celebrations associated with the 12th anniversary of the Smolensk Air Disaster. The former head of the Pentagon claimed that on April 10, 2010, there was an assassination attempt ordered by the Kremlin.

“I was honoured to participate in the memorial ceremonies for President Lech Kaczynski and the members of his accompanying delegation who were brutally murdered by Putin 12 years ago,” he said.

“We know what Putin is doing,” Mr Miller said. “We are here to make sure that the West does not forget this and will remember the lessons of history that are being repeated. We cannot allow Putin, his totalitarian regime, to keep killing,” he pointed out.

We have to stop Putin now!

The former secretary of defence added that “if we don’t stand up to Putin now, we will have to do so at a greater cost later.” He stressed that Poland has been the most active in providing aid to Ukraine and stated that Ukraine needs above all, supplies of weapons and military equipment.

“We want the West to hear that Ukrainians need more arms supplies,” he said. According to the retired military officer, the West should not rule out military intervention.

According to the US Department of Defence, “Mr. Christopher C. Miller served as the Acting Secretary of Defense, from Nov. 9, 2020, until Jan. 20, 2021. Earlier in 2020, he Performed the Duties of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (ASD) for Special Operations/Low Intensity Conflict. He also previously served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) for Special Operations and Combating Terrorism (SOCT).”
