United Right continues to lead popularity rankings

Poland’s governing United Right coalition still leads in the popularity stakes despite a drop in support, according to a new an opinion poll published on Friday.

A survey by the IBRiS pollster gave the United Right 34.2 percent, a drop of 3.2 percentage points month on month.

The Civic Coalition, the main opposition grouping, came second, with 26.2 percent support (up by 3.4 percentage points).

Taking third place in the ranking was Poland 2050 supported by 8.3 percent of respondents, down by 2.6 percentage points.

It was followed by Confederation, a hard-right party, with 7.8-percent support, up by 3.7 percentage points.

The Left was supported by 6.3 percent, down by 0.9 percentage point, while the Polish People’s Party – Polish Coalition could count on 5.3 percent, up by 0.4 percentage point.

Nearly 12 percent of respondents were undecided.

IBRiS ran the survey commissioned by Radio Zet on March 30-31.
