Polish President discusses security with Ukrainian FM

Polish President Andrzej Duda has met the Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dymytro Kuleba. They discussed the security issues related to the current situation in Ukraine.

During the meeting, President Andrzej Duda and Ukrainian FM talked about the aid provided by Poland to the citizens of the war-torn country.

It is the second day of Mr Kuleba’s visit to Poland. On Wednesday, he met Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

“Poland is ready to provide more humanitarian, financial, and political support for Ukraine. No doubt, the times of need reveal true friends,” Mr Kuleba tweeted following the visit.

Mr Kuleba held talks with the Speakers of Sejm and Senate Elżbieta Witek and Tomasz Grodzki.

The Ukrainian minister said that he is grateful to Poland for being so hospitable to Ukrainians fleeing the war.

He also thanked the Speakers of Sejm and Senate for passing important legislation that greatly helps Ukrainians in Poland and enables further support.

“The people of Ukraine will always remember Poland’s help and hospitality at this critical time.”
