Poland reports 6,608 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday, 110 deaths

Poland recorded 6,608 new confirmed coronavirus cases and 110 deaths over the past 24 hours to Tuesday morning, against 2,368 cases reported on Monday, data released by the Health Ministry shows.

The healthcare system is now handling 5,340 Covid-19 hospitalisations, up from 5,333 recorded the day prior, including 336 patients on ventilators, against a total of 1,321 ventilators available, the Health Ministry said on Twitter.

The Health Ministry also reported that 23,879 people are under quarantine. So far, 5,304,270 people have recovered and 114,939 have died.

In all, Poland has already distributed 53,895,022 doses of Covid-19 vaccine, with 22,341,037 people having been fully vaccinated, of whom 11,462,135 have also had a booster jab, according to data posted on the official government website, gov.pl.
