Poland reports 14,480 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, 151 deaths

Poland recorded 14,480 new confirmed coronavirus cases and 151 deaths over the past 24 hours to Wednesday morning, against 12,695 cases reported on Tuesday, data released by the Health Ministry shows.

The healthcare system is now handling 7,636 Covid-19 hospitalisations, down from 7,925 recorded the day prior, including 464 patients on ventilators, against a total of 1,608 ventilators available, the Health Ministry said on Twitter.

The Health Ministry also reported that 73,606 people are under quarantine. So far, 5,207,943 people have recovered and 113,773 have died.

In all, Poland has already distributed 53,689,500 doses of Covid-19 vaccine, with 22,293,936 people having been fully vaccinated, of whom 11,323,162 have also had a booster jab, according to data posted on the official government website, gov.pl.
