Poland reports 12,483 new coronavirus cases on Friday 206 deaths

Poland recorded 12,483 new confirmed coronavirus cases and 206 deaths over the past 24 hours to Friday morning, against 14,068 cases reported on Thursday, data released by the Health Ministry shows.

The healthcare system is now handling 10,423 Covid-19 hospitalisations, down from 10,957 recorded the day prior, including 656 patients on ventilators, against a total of 2,034 ventilators available, the Health Ministry said on Twitter.

The Health Ministry also reported that 79,932 people are under quarantine. So far, 5,110,017 people have recovered.

In all, Poland has already distributed 53,444,278 doses of Covid-19 vaccine, with 22,226,815 people having been fully vaccinated, of whom 11,168,237 have also had a booster jab, according to data posted on the official government website, gov.pl.
