Poland reports 14,737 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday 277 deaths

Poland recorded 14,737 new confirmed coronavirus cases and 277 deaths over the past 24 hours to Wednesday morning, against 12,984 cases reported on Tuesday, data released by the Health Ministry shows.

The healthcare system is now handling 11,627 Covid-19 hospitalisations, down from 12,853 recorded the day prior, including 720 patients on ventilators, against a total of 2,095 ventilators available, the Health Ministry said on Twitter.

The Health Ministry also reported that 93,377 people are under quarantine. So far, 5,087,126 people have recovered.

In all, Poland has already distributed 53,382,707 doses of Covid-19 vaccine, with 22,207,046 people having been fully vaccinated, of whom 11,132,246 have also had a booster jab, according to data posted on the official government website, gov.pl.
