Health minister Adam Niedzielski on Friday said that a government plan for a “hospital train” to transport those injured in Ukraine is close to being finished.
“A hospital train for nearly 150 injured people is almost ready,” he said, adding that the ministry was cooperating with the foreign ministry and the uniformed services.
In an interview on Thursday for the Wirtualna Polska (WP) portal, Niedzielski said that a hospital train, which will be stocked with medical equipment, is being prepared to pick up the injured from the border with Ukraine.
“This is a solution created completely from scratch, so far it has not been used in Poland,” Niedzielski told WP.
