The new season of Bundesliga, the German top football league, started last week. Both Bayern and Borussia had a change of coach. Julian Nagelsmann became the new Bayern coach, while Marco Rose took over the Borussia team.

During the Super Cup, the match between the winners of Bundesliga and German Cup (DFB Pokal), Robert Lewandowski scored a headshot at the 41st minute after a cross from German Serge Gnabry. This gave Bayern the 1:0 lead.

In the 50th minute, Lewandowski gave an assist to Thomas Müller, who scored, increasing Bayern’s lead to 2:0.

In the 64th minute, Borussia’s Marco Reus hit from a distance taking advantage of a gap in Bayern’s defence positioning. Goalkeeper of the Bavarian team Manuel Neuer did not stand a chance with this strong and curled kick. This let Borussia make a comeback with 2:1.

Robert Lewandowski took advantage of defender Manuel Akanji’s mistake and scored the final goal that allowed Bayern to win 3:1 in the 74th minute.
