Presidential couple extend their wishes on Father’s Day

“Dad is a loyal defender and friend, tender guardian and playmate, authority and firm educator, teacher of moral and patriotic attitudes. We wish you satisfaction with the achievements of younger and older children,” the Presidential Couple wrote in their wishes on Father’s Day, celebrated in Poland on June 23.

“On the occasion of today’s special holiday – Father’s Day – please accept the best wishes and congratulations. Let the atmosphere of special joy, closeness and cordiality appear in the homes of the gentlemen,” President Andrzej Duda and First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda wrote on the Presidential Chancellery website.

“Let it be the day when you will feel the fullest childhood love, gratitude, respect and affection. We wish you satisfaction from the achievements of younger and older children and a successful endeavor to ensure a happy childhood and a good start in adult life,” they stressed.

The President and his wife pointed out that the time of coping with the COVID-19 pandemic turned out to be further proof that “paternal dedication, resourcefulness, self-control and perseverance are invaluable treasures of every family.”

“What we wish the men, ourselves and all Polish families the most is that the hardships and problems related to the epidemic end as soon as possible,” the presidential Couple wrote, adding that “we trust that a gradual return to normality and victory over the pandemic will make it easier for men to fulfill their domestic and professional duties, also bringing more opportunities to rest and relax with their loved ones.”

“Dear Fathers! We wish you good health, cheerfulness, prosperity and harmony in family life, and may your dreams come true. All the best !” the wishes concluded.
