Poland recorded 2,296 new confirmed coronavirus cases and 28 deaths over the past 24h to Tuesday morning, against 2,525 cases reported on Monday, data released by the Health Ministry shows.
The healthcare system is now handling 20,981 Covid-19 hospitalisations, up from 20,974 recorded the day prior, including 2,609 patients on ventilators, against the total of 4,225 ventilators available, the Health Ministry reported.
The health ministry also reported that 139,205 people are under quarantine. So far, 2,536,931 people have recovered.
In all, 11,944,959 Poles have already received jabs against Covid-19, with 2,971,205 of those having had both doses of the vaccine, according to data posted on the official government website, gov.pl.
