“It is several times easier to hit a ‘six’ in a lottery than to have quintuplets, it is a rarity even in Europe. All the more huge congratulations to you. This is a great, wonderful moment,” the PM said.

As part of governmental support, the parents of the quintuplets received a large family car from the state. The keys were handed over by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

The children were born during the 29th week of pregnancy. A total of 30 hospital employees were involved in the delivery. The birth weight of the children ranged from 680 to 1180 grams. It was the third time quintuplets were born in the history of the clinic.

According to statistics, the chance that a woman will give birth to quintuplets is 1 to 50 million. The previous two births of quintuplets in the Poznań clinic took place in 2006 and 2007.
