Two people died in a helicopter crash in southern Poland

“Two people died and two were injured in a helicopter accident near Pszczyna (southern Poland),” Tomasz Pokorny from the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Pszczyna said.

Mr Pokorny reported that firefighters received a notification around midnight Monday night.

He said that “Upon arrival, we found out that a helicopter had crashed in the woods, in hard-to-reach terrain. Four people traveled in the machine. Two of them died and two were injured and taken to a hospital.”

The causes of the accident are currently being investigated by the prosecutor’s office and the Aircraft Accident Investigation Commission (KBWLLP).
