Warsaw hosts historical F1 car presentation

This year’s Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN team car – C41 was presented at the Grand Theater in Warsaw. For the first time in history, the world presentation of a Formula One vehicle took place in Poland.

On Monday, this year’s Alfa Romeo team car, which will be driven during the races by Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi, was presented in Warsaw. This was the first time in history for an F1 car to be presented in Poland. “It is a historic day,” said Daniel Obajtek – President of PKN Orlen, the titular sponsor of the Alfa Romeo team.

The team’s new car is similar in color to the previous models – red and white dominate and is equipped with the latest generation Ferrari engine.

The Alfa Romeo’s drivers: Raikkonen, Giovinazzi and Kubica participated in the event. “The presentation of the car taking place in Poland is amazing,” said the team’s Polish test driver.

Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN is the third Formula One team after McLaren and Alpha Tauri to present a car for 2021.

The F1 competition is set to begin with the Bahrain Grand Prix at Sakhir, scheduled for March 28. There are 23 races in this year’s F1 schedule.
