Polish PM, Google CEO to attend innovation roundtable in Warsaw

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Google CEO Sundar Pichai were expected to be among those taking part in an international innovation roundtable in Warsaw on Monday.

Politicians and businessmen from across Central and Eastern Europe were set to brainstorm ways of boosting the region’s innovation performance and tapping its digital potential at the high-profile event organised by the Polish Ministry of Enterprise and Technology.

Government officials from countries including Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania were slated to be among those meeting at the Palace on the Isle venue in Warsaw’s Royal Łazienki Park, according to Poland’s PAP news agency.

Poland was at the end of last year ranked second among the world’s 50 best countries to invest in by a business news website.
