Unemployment in Poland held steady at 5.7 percent in October, unchanged from September, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Tuesday.
The reading confirmed an earlier estimate by the country’s labour ministry.
There were around 940,000 people registered as jobless nationwide in October, down from 947,400 in September, according to the Central Statistical Office.
The office reported last month that Poland’s unemployment rate fell to a new 28-year low of 5.7 percent in September, from 5.8 percent in August.
