Industrial production in Poland in July grew by 10.3 percent compared to the same month last year, the Central Statistical Office of the country (GUS) reported on Monday.
Industrial production last month was 5.4 percent lower than in June, the statistical office reported.
Meanwhile, output in the construction-and-assembly sector shot up by 18.7 percent in July in year-on-year terms, the office said.
Builders in Poland completed 6.3 percent more homes in the first six months of this year than in the same period in 2017, according to the Central Statistical Office.
Polish President Andrzej Duda this month signed into law a bill aiming to speed up the construction of new homes amid a housing shortage.
