Began booking a new connection of the Polish national carrier LOT with Turin in Northern Italy.
There will be two flights a week, both on Saturdays, from Warsaw and from the southern Polish city of Katowice.
Flights are planned for three months, from 29 December 2018 to 23 March 2019, and will target primarily skiing enthusiasts, who will be able to get from Turin airport to ski centres in the Italian and Swiss Alps by coach.
An 186-seat Boeing 737-800 plane will operate the route.
Other connections offered by LOT with winter sports fans in mind are those to Geneva, which is close to the French and Swiss Alps, and to Ljubljana in Slovenia.
