Industrial production in Poland increased by 9.3% in April: statistical office

Industrial production in Poland rose 9.3 percent in April from the same month last year, the country’s Central statistical Office (GUS) said on Monday.

Industrial production last month was 6.8 percent lower than in March, the statistical office reported.

Meanwhile, output in the construction-and-assembly sector rose by 19.7 percent in April in year-on-year terms, the office said.

Builders in Poland completed 10.6 percent more homes in the first three months of this year than in the same period in 2017, according to the Central Statistical Office.
