Banking sentiment improved in Poland in March compared with February, according to a study.

The Pengab index, which measures banking sentiment in the country, rose by 7.3 points to 29.6 points in March, the Polish Bank Association (ZBP) and market researcher Kantar TNS said in a joint report on Thursday.

“Both businesses and private individuals have been more active on the deposit market in March, accompanied by an increased activity of both retail and corporate clients on the credit market,” Kantar TNS’s Marcin Idzik said.
