Inflation in Poland subsided to 2% year-on-year in December from 2.5% in November, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said in a flash estimate on Wednesday. The office was due to release its final figure for December on January 15.
In October, the prices of goods and services in Poland rose 2.1% compared to the same month a year earlier, according to the Central Statistical Office.
Inflation stood at 2.2% year-on-year in September, 1.8% in August, 1.7% in July, and 1.5% in June.
